about

A coolection of songs ladled out of the primordial soup from whence The Best of Synthia was birthed. Recorded roughly from 2000-2006 by the immortally young and dashing Timothy Hugh Matthews with only the most high-tech shitty 4-track and 8-track devices, these tracks represent the future of music in, like, 2005 or something.

Jokes aside: we are excited to finally release these old tracks into the wild. They are available on streaming, but if you'd like to support us here or simply want to download these tunes to throw them on a CD for a REAL throwback experience, we'd be most appreciative.

Love always,

about

The Best of Synthia St Augustine, Florida

The Best of Synthia is a four-piece American band from Saint Augustine, Florida. The name was originally given to the solo project of singer/songwriter Tim Matthews.

Matthews and co. often confound genre descriptions, and their music has been most hilariously called things like "Avant-Pop", "Synth Bop", "Eclectic Indie Rock" and "tolerable."
